Committed to the Cause
Joshalynn Green is the founder of Phenomenal Women Inc., a non-profit organization that specializes in empowering, encouraging, and uplifting women to reach their fullest potential, Joshalynn Green is an active participant in mentorship opportunities, community service, and activism.
Over the past few years, Joshalynn has focused her efforts on expanding the organization by implementing a 12-week youth program, geared towards teaching young ladies ages 10-16 various life skills while providing them mentorship. With the help of her amazing team, she has been able to give students scholarships, donate many items to the homeless, and establish many amazing partnerships. Ms. Green is also dedicated to supporting small business owners by giving them a platform to showcase their product services at our various business events and initiatives.
Joshalynn says "I believe it's important to serve my community and support the next generation of women leaders. As someone who grew up in what statistics call a broken home, my childhood struggles motivated me to have a service-driven attitude." Ms. Green says she is committed to her organization and would like to someday open up a facility to expand the mission and also provide year-long mentorship, life skills, tutoring, and scholarships.
Since Joshalynn’s development of Phenomenal Women, Inc. she received a letter from Former First Lady Michelle Obama, inspiring her to demonstrate courage to overcome challenges. Miss Green has been awarded by the Denver Urban Spectrum for being an African American who Makes a Difference in 2020, published by Voyage magazine, and received the Community Arts Leader and Impact Awards. Outside of work related to Phenomenal Women, Joshalynn holds a Corporate Recruiting position at Johnson Controls where she enjoys helping professionals develop their careers. Miss Green is also the founder of Productive Designs, LLC which is a business she started to help people lead a productive lifestyle through her custom designed planners and stationery items. Joshalynn is also a proud member of the Denver Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
