Jordan Scott-Benson

Co-Chair  of Funding  Initiatives 

Jordan is a Colorado native, graduated from Mullen High School, then went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from an HBCU Shaw University. She is also an ex-athlete and the youngest of 3 girls. Jordan currently works for UC Health’s Oncology Department as a Medical Assistant. She is very passionate about healthcare, holistic healing, science, jazz, and being an inspiration to all black and brown women through the works of her community service. In the future, Ishe plans on obtaining a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy; maintaining a career where I continue to help and heal the hurt and wounded. Jordan also started a luxury candle line Mahogany Scents during the covid pandemic; which she has been making strides with since.


She joined Phenomenal Women to be the very inspiration to the BIPOC community she received growing up. She is committed to being a mentor by uplifting, empowering, and challenging these young women to strive for something greater than their environments.

Tyreesa Reeves

Director of Youth and Volunteer Engagement 

Tyreesa (Tie- Ree- Suh) “Ty” [she/her] is a passionate and joyful Black femme identified narrative. She is a champion of learning as a tool to liberate folks. She believes deeply in the power of collectivism,  breathwork, and affirmation as a way to manifest and claim what is manifest in the 
present. She was raised by the fiercest Black Woman straight out of Washington, DC, and 
attributes everything she knows to her. 

 

Tyreesa joined Phenomenal Women CO. to continue her work of creating spaces of visibility for Black and Brown youth and communities. As an educator, Tyreesa is keenly aware of the social and emotional disparities impacting everyone, but especially our young people. She aims to push collective healing through love. With over 20 years of personal and professional volunteer experience and engagement, she is excited to bring her learnings back to her hometown of Denver, CO and the community of P - Dubb.

Allie Mason

Community Outreach

Alexandra is a full-time graduate student at the University of Denver and works full-time at an Education tech start-up in Denver, Colorado. She was awarded her bachelor's degree in African American studies with a minor in women’s studies. She is currently pursuing her master's degree in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in strategic innovation and change.

 

One day she will like to have her own company that funds new schools all over the company for underprivileged children. Alexandra has a passion for education as well as giving back to the Black community. She strives to be a role model for young girls and to be a mentor to them. She believes that the youth is our future and that starts with one girl at a time.

Payne Davis 

Vice President 

Payne is currently enrolled at the Metropolitan State University of Denver pursuing a degree in Human Services with a minor in Human Resources. 


She is currently employed with the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless as the Customer Service Specialist on the Quality Assurance Team. Once she has graduated she intends to open her own consulting firm dedicated to assisting nonprofits to grow and thrive with helping the population they serve. 


Payne joined Phenomenal Woman because she is dedicated to helping others figure out their passion in life and reaching their highest potential beginning with our youth!

Briana Richards 

Co-Director of People Relations 

Briana Richards is an entrepreneur who enjoys working in mental health and helping others. Briana currently works at the Mental Health Center of Denver in pursuit of a career in mental health. She plans on starting a blog advocating for mental health and overall well-being. She considers herself an overall humanitarian and loves to help others especially those with mental illness as it is a rising topic in our society and something important for society to begin to address and move forward with awareness.

 

Briana is involved with Phenomenal Women because she believes in the positive impact of youth and how it can present a better future despite adversities.

Rosy Garcia 

Specialty Projects 

Rosy Garcia is a Los Angeles native. A mother, leader, professional, and friend. She is passionate about women reaching their full potential and making the best out of the present moment. She is a proud graduate of The University of Colorado at Boulder and was a first-generation student; she walked across the stage to receive her diploma at 9 months pregnant. Her background is in Sociology and Ethnic Studies.

Currently, she is in the digital marketing field and has a passion for breaking barriers professionally by diving into the world of coding. She is also 1 of 3 women of color in her entire company.


As a Mexican-American woman, she has learned to navigate the intersectionality of two cultures, and as a result, can easily connect with people from all walks of life. She believes in the uniqueness and gift that all women possess and finds great joy in helping women become the best version of themselves.

Tishany Jenkins

Phenomenal Women Team Member 

Tishany Jenkins is a Colorado native and proud Panamanian. She received her degree in Political Science and a Masters in Environmental Law & Policy. She is passionate about self-care, natural skincare, helping others, law, policy, mental health, and investing in the youth. In
her free time she enjoys spending time with family, being a mom, volunteering, reading, being a foodie, and traveling.


I wanted to be a part of Phenomenal Women because I want to empower young women and make a difference in my community. Legacy is important to me and I hope that my daughters can look back at all the work I’ve done especially with this amazing organization and be inspired
to do and be great!

Amber Harbin 

Phenomenal Women Team Member 

Amber Harbin, is a Denver Native.  She graduated from George Washington High School in Denver and attended Norfolk State University in Norfolk VA.  She has a degree in Healthcare Administration and currently works at Children’s Hospital Colorado in Pediatric Endocrinology as an Administrative Assistant to the Chief of Pediatric Endocrinology.  She is married to her high school sweetheart and they have a daughter who will be graduating high school soon (they started young LOL). In her free time, she is very passionate about events and event planning.  She is actively working to grow her Event consulting business, as an event concierge.  She loves to read, travel, and spend time with her family and friends in her free time and can call herself an Amazon addict.   

 

She joined PW, because she realized during the pandemic there is a need for adults who understand teens.  As a mother of a teenager, she wants to be that adult as they are going through so much these days and she is praying that her involvement will make a positive impact in someone’s life.
