Dear Phenomenal Supporters,

 

For nearly a decade, I have devoted much of my time, resources, and efforts to serving our community and investing in our youth through Phenomenal Women, Inc. Reflecting on our remarkable journey, I'm filled with abundant gratitude. This year marks a milestone in the Phenomenal Women (PW) story, and it is with mixed emotions that I share this moment with you, our cherished community of supporters.

 

I am so very grateful to all our supporters over the years. Those of you who believed in me, in our mission, and in the work we’ve accomplished together. None of this would have been possible without you, and most importantly, without the community we’ve had the privilege to serve.

As Founder, I want to share openly with you. Over this past year, I stepped back to focus on well-being after many personal shifts that required me to reprioritize my life. While I slowed down, my commitment to the mission never wavered.​ Phenomenal Women began as a vision to create a space where young girls, especially those who looked like me, could see their potential and know they could achieve their goals. Growing up in what statistics call a broken home—but through this work, I’ve seen how support, encouragement, and opportunity can change lives. Phenomenal Women became a safe space, a resource, and a beacon of hope—for me, for our team, and for the countless young women we’ve reached.

A Celebration of Our Journey

This is a moment to celebrate everything we’ve accomplished together. After much reflection, the decision by our leadership team has been made to close the operations of Phenomenal Women, Inc. While this marks the end of one chapter, it is also a celebration of our efforts, our impact, and the seeds we’ve sown for others to continue this important work.

We have the joy of witnessing over BIPOC led organizations in Denver thriving and carrying forward the mission of empowerment, encouragement, and uplift. This is a legacy we can all celebrate—and one that will continue to grow beyond us.

With heartfelt gratitude to all our supporters, volunteers, partners, and community members, I thank you for believing in us, showing up, and making a difference alongside us. Our work has been meaningful, life-changing, and together, we’ve built something to honor and carry forward for years to come.
